2009 Decatur Beer Festival Sold Out!

The Decatur Beer Festival, this year on Saturday, October 17, 2009 located in Decatur, Georgia,  seems to be a popular festival to go to. Usually selling out pretty quickly every year, this year’s tickets sold out in 12 days from being released for official sell on Monday, August 24, 2009. WOW! However, a limited of tickets were actually held by the event planners in efforts to give people who submitted to be a volunteer for the event but who were not accepted, a chance to buy tickets and attend the beer festival. A previous article stated how the City of Decatur event planners had no idea this year’s event would sell out so quickly and they were mistaken for holding back the tickets. So they decided to release the remaining tickets for sale on October 1st. They announced by the afternoon on facebook that they had officially sold out! In case you missed this festival this year, you can make note on a calendar in June or July 2010 to check the website for the dates for the 2010 Decatur Beer Festival, which usually happens in October every year.

We the, Beer Brew Girls, have our tickets and are READY for some beer tasting fun!!! Wahooooo! We are going with some friends and have plans to be there around 11am. We are bracing ourselves for a line with 3,996 other people  who will also be attending this event. We’ll let you know how it goes!
