Beer Brew Girls Homebrew Contest Finalist Winners
So we, the Beer Brew Girls entered our very first beer competition and we made it into the final round out of 115 beers! Not bad for our first competition! Although, we didn’t win in the top 5 positions, we are proud of our accomplishment and have the motivation to press on, make more beer to win in the future! After all, we are still somewhat newbies at it so we obviously have some things to learn but we are determined to do so!
Here are the winners of the Beermuda Triangle Homebrew contest: 1st place – Hamp Covington with Eyes of the World (Double IPA); 2nd place Josh Fallen with Heinous Belgian Saison; 3rd place Richard Roper; 4th place Bill Houey with Molly Dolly Indian Brown; 5th place Joshua Humphries.

Congratulations on making it to the round of 28!
You were wrong on the order of the final 5 beers, though. Bill Hoey with Molly Dolly Indian Brown finished 2nd, not 4th, and there was a two-way tie for 3rd between Richard Roper and Josh Fallen.
Thanks Bill! And sorry for the wrongness of orders of winners. I pulled that from facebook whoops!

Yes, I was at 5-Seasons for the judging of the 5 finalists. Had a few beers at the bar with some great fish tacos and enjoyed it immensely. Hope they do it again soon.

Haven’t tried their fish tacos yet. I think it would be great for them to do it again. It seems that they had quite a response to the free entry competition!
