Hotoberfest in Atlanta!

Earth. Beer. Music. This seems to be the tagline for this Atlanta beer event. Hotoberfest which is defined to be the combination of Atlanta’s personality and the traditional Oktoberfest, happens this Saturday, October 3, 2009 in Atlanta at the Glenwood Park Community. Featuring the world market from 12 p m – 7 pm as the free part of the festival with food and beer vendors, music and the artist market, the Beer Garten from 1 pm – 6 pm is a paid access entry in which you can sample up to 110 different craft beers from around the world.
We are talking about many beers from many breweries including: Sweetwater Brewing Co, New Belgium, Avery, Highland Brewery and some of my personal favorites: Duvel, Ommegang and Chimay! If you really want the VIP treatment, purchase the VIP ticket for exclusive samplings of: Delirium Tremens (another personal favorite), Sweetwater HOToberfest special, St. Bernardus Apt 12 and many more. This sounds pretty SWEET to me! I honestly have never heard of this festival but it sounds like its going to be a good one!
You must purchase tickets to get into the Beer Garten. For regular entry, its $30 advance/$35 at gate while tickets last. For the VIP ticket, its $50 advance/$55 at gate. For more information and ALL of the details, visit Hotoberfest. Have Fun!!!
