With the holidays fast approaching, it seems that everyone has some type of event happening whether it is an art festival, a fundraiser for a school or charity or simply a holiday gathering that they want the entire Atlanta to know about. There are actually places you can advertise your event or fundraiser or garage sale, etc for free. With the word free used, I mean free as in, you do not have to spend money to place these ads online. However, you will have to spend time posting the information on each and every online place you decide to post! Well your event is worthy right? Then enough with my blabbing on and let’s get to the information! Here are free places to advertise your Atlanta event online!
The Sunday Paper .com

Kim Wolfe
I want to post a calendar in which people can select a class of interest to attend and register. Do any of these free sites allow one to post photos?
There are many calendar and form plugins available to you as wordpress user. You’ll need to research to see if there is one plugin that will let you have events for people to register with a calendar option to display events. You may have to use a calendar plugin and event registration plugin and somehow work them together manually. Let me know what you discover.
Karen, Also look at google’s calendar and docs. Google Docs allows you to create a form that you can link to from a website and the entries go into a specific spreadsheet. There may be a way for you to combine the google calendar and docs together to manage different event entries easily.
This was awesome thank you!!!
